Valley’s Integration team is comprised of our most senior members of the Engineering, Production and Service Groups. This specialized task force brings together decades of Practical and Technical engineering experience over countless different applications to offer our customers a single-source solution for today’s complex installations. We offer Vessel Propulsion/Generation solutions for our customers, integrating all aspects of engine controls, generator controls, propulsion controls and alarm/monitoring systems. As well, we offer complete generator packages that are easily integrated into standby, prime, and emergency backup power plant operations. Our onsite performance is supported by our in-house ability at the Ontario CA Branch to run and load test any of our units up to 4MWe @ 15KV. Valley’s EMD service department takes pride in our ability to fully service and support the entire EMD product line from the “ATL” series, through the “GC” series engines. We offer our customers EMD Factory-trained technicians and a cumulative of over 130 years of heavy duty diesel engine experience. Our crew is well versed in all facets of engine repair including overhauls, major component replacement, crankcase repairs, rotating equipment alignment, and electronic controls diagnosis & repair. Additionally we have field technicians with extensive marine, industrial and generation application engineering and analysis capabilities. Our crews are ready and willing to support customers’ needs whether it is a scheduled maintenance event being performed under-way to ensure vessel uptime, or a major component repair in a foreign port to minimize the impact of an un-planned service event.

Valley’s Ontario branch is home to the EMD group’s Engineering and Production/Modification department. This facility features a new-construction workshop dedicated to our large-bore diesel engine business. With a 15-Ton overhead bridge-crane and 6-working bays we have the infrastructure to support build up of our custom EMD generator packages, and all required sub-assemblies in an efficient and protected environment. In addition to the shop we have an onsite cooling tower, load bank and transformer capable of handling power outputs up to 4MWe and 15KV per unit. We are well versed and capable of testing our EMD packages to your requirements, whether it be durability testing for several days in a row, or fuel consumption data in an “as built” condition. With our skilled technicians working in this modern facility Valley is able to offer our customers unparalleled excellence in our completed products. |

Valley’s Seattle Branch offers over 6000 Sq. ft. of warehouse space dedicated exclusively to the EMD Product line. Located in Ballard and opened in 2008, our Seattle location has become a key part of our local support network for the greater Northwest area, including Alaska. We currently stock over $250K of Genuine EMD new and UTEX parts, and offer daily parts delivery to all our local customers and all Seattle-based freight forwarders for shipments heading to Alaska.
The Seattle Branch is home base for several of our Service Technicians, our Service Management group, and Engineering/Integration support personnel. In addition the branch is staffed with knowledgeable, local parts specialists, all working together to support you in a professional and personal manner. |
